Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) currently operates Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC), Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS) and connectIPS e-Payment System with participation of almost all the BFIs and other institutions. NCHL is expanding its team to drive its existing and upcoming national payment systems. Hence, it invites qualified and competent Nepali national for the following full-time positions.

 

Officer-Special Projects (1)

This is a mid-level role to drive, manage and ensure completion of projects of NCHL as internal business owner and coordinate with development, operations and business teams internally and respective external stakeholders for the same.

Job Responsibilities

· Coordinate for project design and implementation with responsibility to manage project, scope identification, activities, resource planning and project timelines.

· Act as business analyst to identification and defining business and functional requirements including BRS/ SRS, Process/ Data Flow. Manage changes in the project.

· Monitor project progress and maintains detailed project documentations/records.

· Co-ordinate with all the relevant stakeholders (internal/ external) to ensure the project is executed as planned and for ensuring testing of the system/ solution prior to their acceptance for deployment.

· Lead initiatives to derive ideas, use cases, proof of concepts, new technology/ functionalities.

· Confirm to organizational policies and procedures.

 

Job Specification and Eligibility

· At least University degree in engineering/ science, IT/IS, computer applications or related field. MBA or project management or similar qualification preferred.

· At least 5 year of experience in project development, implementation and/or coordination. Experience in payment systems or technology projects will be an advantage.

· Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.

· Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.

· Ability to take initiatives and effectively prioritize & execute tasks.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Marketing & Public Relations Officer (1)

This is a mid-level role to prepare and execute comprehensive marketing and promotional plans. He/she shall handle digital & social media channels, agency/media/public relation management.

Job Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed marketing and promotional plans and ensure their execution to achieve the targets.

· Analyze industry trends, identify new business opportunities and prepare business case for new product/service. Prepare proposals for new leads and follow ups for new enrollments and engagements.

· Conduct product/ service presentations to technical and nontechnical senior officials of the existing & potential members and other clients.

· Manage company’s brand online and off-line; handle digital & social media, corporate websites.

· Manage marketing, promotion and/or ad agencies for all BTL and ATL related activities as per marketing/ promotional plans.

· Responsible for all marketing and promotion materials related to their design, color, content, liaising with the vendors and distribution.

· Responsible for coordinating with media and handling public relations.

· Research industry and related events/ publications/ announcements in the field of payment & settlement to identify additional business/ use cases.

· Enhance organization reputation and confirms to organizational policies and procedures.

· Act as a backup of Business Development Manager and executes other activities as required.

 

Job Specification

· Master’s degree in Marketing/ Management/ Commerce or similar.

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand management, public relation, media/ agency handling. Exposure in technology based product/ services shall be preferred.

· Expert in all forms of communication skills, negotiation and deal closing skills. Strong research and computer skills required.

· Detail-oriented individual, who can work under deadline and target pressure both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.

· Proactive, creative and strong in all forms of communication.

 

Senior System Analyst-Software Development (2)

This is a mid-level role to analyze, design, develop and implement software solutions for the business/ process requirements.

Job Responsibilities

· Execute full software development lifecycle.

· Responsible for preparing system requirements, analyze, design, develop, test and implement software applications, based on business and/or process requirements.

· Prepare and maintain necessary functional and technical documentations including BRS/ SRS, Process/ Data Flow, User Manuals, Changes documents of the solutions.

· Perform software & system design. Suggest technology, ideas and functionalities.

· Supervise team members / developers to ensure development and software quality of the systems. Develop software verification plans and ensures quality assurance.

· Ensure that the solution of the company is tested properly in a planned way prior to delivery for deployment. Test and analyze software solutions before deployment.

· Interact with other vendors/ consultants and/or end users to ensure functional requirements

· Maintain and own development and test environments of all software solutions. Ensure configuration/ change management of the software.

· Support in deployment, installation and configuration of the developed systems.

· Provide training to the business, operations and other users.

 

Job Specification

· At least University degree in engineering/ science, IT/IS, computer applications or related field.

· At least 5 year of experience in system/ technology design, development, implementation, and/or operation. Experience in payment systems/interfaces will be an advantage.

· Ability to develop software in C, C++, C#, Java or other selected languages.

· Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies in Windows and Unix/ Linux based platforms.

· Sound knowledge of Web Services, XML, Message Queue, FTP, financial messaging like 8583, 20022, etc.

· Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework

· Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.

· Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

 

System Analyst –Software Development (1)

This is an entry level role to provide support to analyze, design, develop and implement software solutions for the business/ process requirements.

Job Responsibilities

· Assist in preparation of system requirements, analyze, design, develop, test and implement software applications, based on business and/or process requirements.

· Prepare necessary functional and technical documentations including BRS/ SRS, Process/ Data Flow, User Manuals, Changes documents of the solutions.

· Develop software solutions as per design.

· Test the software solution as per the requirements to ensure quality of the software solution. Interacts with other vendors/consultants and/or end users to ensure functional requirements.

· Assist in maintenance of configuration/change management in different environments.

· Provide necessary training to the business, operations and other users.

· Execute other activities as required.

· Confirm to organizational policies and procedures.

System Analyst-Helpdesk/Support (1)

This is an entry level role to provide helpdesk support to the end users of the members. He/ She also performs the day to day activities in operating the systems.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide first line of helpdesk support to the users of the members.

· Assist new members in setup/ configuration and provides trainings on different payment applications. · Perform system administration and operations activities.

· Monitor activities applications, servers, network & associated systems.

· To be involved in development, testing, deployment and maintenance of software applications/ systems.

Job Specification

· At least University degree in engineering/ science, IT or related field.

· At least 1 year of experience in system implementation or operation. Experience in supporting critical systems is an advantage.

· Outstanding fresh graduate with good command of major computer languages, db, OS, network technologies can also apply.

· Good knowledge of C, C++, JAVA, PHP, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, Unix, Windows, etc.

 · Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Support Executive (2)

This is an entry level role to provide helpdesk support to the end users and customers of the members to ensure timely response of such support.

Job Responsibilities

· Provide first line of helpdesk support to the users of the members and their customers for issues/queries.

· Keeps record of all the issues/queries reported by the users and ensure their timely resolution.

· Assists users and end customers for their setup/configuration and enrollments. · Provide operational training and awareness to the users/customers.

· Assist in daily operations at Helpdesk including beginning of day, end of day, monitoring activities and take backups.

 

Job Specification

· At least University degree in Commerce/ Management/ Business/ IT/ Science.

· At least 1 year of experience in supporting customers, users.

· Outstanding fresh graduate with good knowledge of customer support payment systems can also be apply

· Ability to learn, understand systems.

· Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
