National Archive is an additional service provided to the member BFIs to access old transaction details processed through NCHL systems. All transactions older than three months (as per current archive policy) are moved from the NCHL system to the National Archive system to store the transactions for a longer period (7 years as per current archive policy). Member banks need to contact NCHL to access such old transactions.
National Cheque Archive is an additional service provided to the member Banks/FIs to access old cheques and their transaction details. All the cheque transactions older than three months (as per current archive policy) are moved from the NCHL-ECC system to National Cheque Archive system to store the cheques for longer period (7 years as per current archive policy). Member banks need to contact NCHL to access such old cheques.
NCHL-IPS Archive is an additional service provided to the members to access past transactions that are older than three months and up to 7 years (as per current archive policy). Membersneed to contact NCHL to access such old transactions.
