Kathmandu: Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) has appointed Mr. Amit Shrestha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ICFC Finance Ltd. as one of the Members of Board of Directors of NCHL, representing finance companies group by its board meeting dated 17th Bhadra 2080. Mr. Shrestha has replaced Mr. Samaj Prakash Shrestha of Reliance Finance Ltd. after his departure from the Board. Mr. Amit Shrestha has over 21 years of experience in commercial banks and finance companies.
NCHL is promoted by Nepal Rastra Bank and the banks & financial institutions. Its Board comprises of the representatives from Nepal Rastra Bank, 3 from commercial banks, 1 each from development banks & finance companies and an independent director. NCHL has been engaged in establishing and operating multiple national payment & settlement systems in Nepal.
